The History of the Sa Calma Hotel
Old house from the 18th century and from the origin the residence of a recognized family dedicated to the transport service of travelers, parcels and mail through the Baix Empordà area, using stagecoaches and tartanas.
At the beginning of the 20th century, they were among the first to introduce the first buses and taxis to the area. They were one of the pioneer families in tourism on the Costa Brava, especially on the beach of Sa Riera.
